It was soooo nice today, in the fifties and sunny..I just had to get on my guys for a minute! :D If I had taken the time to get them cleaned and tacked up, I wouldn't have had the time to just do a few laps around the back yard, so please ignore the dirty horses and my attire...

Joy

I am so happy that you and Rico (formerly Corky) are bonding. From my experience all the horses from Frosty Acres Puerto Rican paso finos are consistently top quality and well adjusted. I have 4 from there!

Great news!

Cheryl,

I was at Barb;s a couple weeks ago and wanted to see your Corito filly....she was out in the pasture and I didin;t get to see her (darn). I heard she was doing really good though.

Cita (Paulina Amorosa IHR x Corito de Vez) is doing great and growing like weed! I got a couple new pics of her in our nice snowy weather.

Here's a couple......

Hi Deb
I like the photos! They look so much alike.
I am sorry that you did not get to see Lilly.
It is certainly horse heaven there when there is so much pasture that sometimes the horses "are in the north forty", away from human eyes.

Did you get to see Karina, Lyras yearling? She is a stunning baby with a step to die for. That is Lilly's buddy.

I have trouble posting photos, I will send one to you of Lilly and Karina and you could post it.

Glad you and Frost are well.

Cheryl,

Maybe I can hlep you with posting pics.....I had a hard time too at first. I use www.pethobbyist.com. You have to upload pics to a web like this and then transfer them to this forum.

Go to the above website......set up an account. Then login and you can upload pics fromm your computer under "browse". You have to resize the pics to max if 1000x1200 pixels or they won;t load. Then after you load it right click on the photo and got to the end of the list "properties" that will bring up another box and you will see photoULR with a long description I think startting with http. Highlight the ULR and pick "Copy" and then ok and then you can go back to the APF forum to post reply. Go to the box IMG click and then paste with your right mouse button and then IMG one more time. you can then preview the post and then submit.

My place here has also been referred to as "Horsey Heaven". We have beautiful mountain and valley views....here is one of Cita and Star(Cita;s buddy and her Auntie)with one of our views. It looks a bit blurry with the snow blowingbut you can see7 mountains and valleys in the distance on a clear day....I will try to get a better one.

Frost really doesn;t care for the cold weather. I have him in the barn with the other horses and he seems to prefer it. I may turn him out today...looks decent out and try to getsome of him.....

Here's a kinda kool picture of Frost in the barn the day I was taking pics. See how his forelock is blowing? He is way in the barn but this wind is coming from the west and really something......his mane was blowing out through the bars on the other side! No wonder he didin;t want to got out!
