I know that Phoebe and I were not counted for our little ride since I was not a member - MG's if you were not members when you rode at some of the rides, that may be why your records are incomplete.

But we've always been members until this year and our horses also have numbers. I need to call them I guess.
I don't think we did any 06 rides with this golf course thing going on next door and moving horses all over the place and trying to find a new place for them. But we did 05 and I think 03 or 02. But our miles are not correct and our horses don't have credit for all their miles. It just hasn't been high on our list to fix it! ;-) ;-) ;-)

i saw that list too mel. interesting numbers! i think i will total up all the horses and break the breeds down by percentage. there were almost 3000 arabians, so many of the other breeds will be a very, very small percentage of the total.
MG, the GERA fundraiser is dawson forest, so that accounts for one of your rides. i dont know about the others. i do know that aerc has all of my rides listed, even before i was a member. the records will show it, but just show the rider with no ID number. same for the horse. so, yes, mel, your river run ride with phoebe will show up in the online records.

We did Liberty twice, Hallelujah two or three times, we overtimed at Pyramid (got lost and rode a loop twice) and pulled at JD Fountains and Dawson Forest since I didn't like the conditions. So Chinook should have 4 or 5 LD's and Lula, 1 plus two rider option.
Ed, an interesting way to do the statistics on breeds is to look up the total number of horses registered with that particular breed and calculate the percentage of that total that participates in endurance. For example there are many more thoroughbreds, QH's and TW's than there are paso finos but if their numbers are higher, their statistical representation out of the total in their breed would still be a lot lower than paso fino.

Mine are pretty accurate. One time they did list the wrong rider on Tsar but I think that was one we didn't complete so didn't bother to fix it. I think that's pretty good for 6 years on 3 different horses.

Please note Cowboy Ed & MotorGypsies :We are on top of it and our work is in progress & evaluating variables like horses with no records of actual starts but that have AERC registration numbers. There are others but for this moment in time here are some amazing stats to admire our horses from.
Top 10 High Mileage Paso's have an average of 998 miles ea and a combined completion rate of 91%
31 Paso's have over 200 miles - with an average of 608 miles each horse and still have a completion rate of 91%
the 104 that have started rides have a total of 23,910 miles / aver of 229 ea horse for a completion rate of 86.5
the 99 that have completions share the miles of 23,910 for an average of 242 per horse and a completion rate of 87%
6 Paso's have started 100's with a completion rate of 60%
4 Paso's have actually finished 6 100's between them.
The info comes from a past sponser of PFHA endurance horse of the year & CTR high point horse of the year and AERC stats Thank You, Mike Maul and others.
Disclaimer:the official AERC stats for 2006 year ending has not been tallied until all ridemanagers send in data. Also this is thier entire database on paso finos yet some others are still reporting in note Brenda Halls post for research data.
I have found the data to be very accurate(at least for our horses and most others I know of) and thank all parties
