This is an interesting site. A neat little flash presentation about how models in mags are so retouched. I think I need to send these folks a pic of me for a real challenge!

I am going to show Kev this when I get home. Maybe he will stop thinking those Maxim girls are so perfect...

Worse yet, most people only think that people get work done as far as implants all over (calves, boobs, butt, cheeks, etc.), or tattoo makeup, or hair-coloring... do you know they actually do surgery on the smelly bearded clam now, too? Yes, apparently THAT isn't "pretty enough" (how can it be- look at what it IS), so you have parts trimmed here, small implants added there, this lasered-off, etc. etc. etc. I'd post the link, but it is, of course, very graphic, and the romper-roomies definitely don't need to see something like that.

You'll notice how there's just not much you can do to make men any more bearable. I mean- what are you going to do to it? Put a smiley face and a little wig on it? Any changes we'd like to make to them are "gay", so we're stuck with 'em the way they are. Men don't seem to care that there are medical repercussions after such extreme alterations, or that our quality of life could be compromised. They don't care about the process, they just want the end result- as if they deserve that.

Neither men NOR women really know "what we're supposed to look like" any more.

It's why I'm grateful that there's pornography out there. I don't have to work so hard to be something I'm not, so long as there are women willing to receive a lot of money, and do all the work to take up the slack!

okay...i want the WAIST job....how do I make it last beyond the camera?

LOL

Crystal, you bring up an interesting point about what we're "supposed to look like"...since that changes with time, age, era, style, even event - we should look different going out on the town then going skiing. So...what we're "supposed to look like" changes with the occasion.

But gosh...i do know I'm supposed to have a waist...a concave waist. LOL
