A couple of us here at work have decided that Athens needs a dinner club. We want it to be one of those places that is very elegant. Ladies wear a nice dress with stockings and heels and the gentlemen wear a coat and tie.
The atmosphere is very elegant with big band type music and beautifully presented gourment food. Once people finish eating, they can dance the night away. Dance lessons will be offered in the afternoons before the club opens for regular business. The club will also host special events like masquerade balls.
What would you name such a place????

In Athens, I'd be tempted to go with The Athenia. Of course then people will expect Greek food there.

The Savoy
Peppermint Lounge
Limelight
You could just name it a number or the number of the street address like a lot of other places do (for example, 21).
Someone's initials
Leave it nameless, and people will come up w/something.
One of your beer's names
One of your horse's names!!!!!!!!!!

It should work in Athens though, it is a nice, genteel, southern town with a nice university. I have friends there who both teach at the college. They would go, I'm sure.
You could always go with a southern name,
Sweet Magnolia
Sweet Potato
Spanish Moss
Hush Puppy
Crazy Kudzu (sorry, coudn't resist)

My first thought was "The Love Shack" but that would be in Rome, GA (musical reference for those that don't know the B-52s!)
Our small town actually has several of these type of places and the folks from Washington DC come to stay the weekend and frequent them. I like the magnolia concept. The suggestion about addresses has worked too in some towns (44 North, etc)

Hmmm,
There is a new condo development that is going downtown that will be named after the address so that one may not work.
I was wondering if a name the invokes and ancient greek feeling would work?
