Thanks. Here is one of my girlfriend and I riding the trails at Dupont NC. A good friend took a picture of us inside the covered bridge. http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p110/pasoguysc/meandteresaatdupont.jpg

Beautiful, all of you! Cricket looks really good for a 21 year old...not near as much gray hair as my old man!

Thanks Linda, She was our first Paso purchased in April'88 and taught me and many others valuable lessons. She still has plenty of get up and go but does have a touch oh arthritis, so if she isn't ridden on a regular basis she tends to get a bit pacey. She has been worth her weight in gold and she'll be with us till the end.

Both are beautiful. Cricket is in wonderful shape for her age. She looks like a youngster!

Great pix of you guys on the bridge also. Thanks for sharing!

Barbwire, Thanks. I love him too even when he is bad. I had to move him and the others to another farm as someone else reaaaally liked him too, only thing is they weren't going to stop at admiring from afar. They try to steal him in the middle of the night, it's a good thing he really loves me or he might have been cooperative, I found a rope halter in my pasture with a broken lead (not mine). I thought that might have discouraged them, but within a couple of days (day before Christmas eve)my neighbor say some man in the pasture petting on him at 8:15 in the morning. My guess trying to get Lightning more comfortable with him. So, after two police reports locks on all gates, I decided I had better move them atleast for awhile. I'm getting all of them freeze branded next week. I just hope that will be more discouraging. I hope that you had a great Christmas and have a wonderful New Year!! :D :D

Pasomom and Pasogirlz,
Thanks for your kind remarks I hope you both had a great Christmas and have a wonderful New Year!! :D :D

HOLY SMOKES, Pasoguy, that sounds scary! I had a scare last year. A truck kept driving by my house very slowly, looking at my horses in the front pen. We have a really cute fluffy pony, and a nice gray Paso, so I am used to this sort of thing, but this truck came back for two days, driving by more than once each day.

A few days later, I see a different truck back into our upper driveway pulling a 2 horse stock trailer. I high-tail it out there, and see a guy hop out of the truck with a lead in his hand! I went right up to him and asked him what he was doing. He said he was told to pick up 2 horses at my address and deliver them to a guy that had bought them. I told him that he was at the wrong place and my horses were not for sale. He apologized, then got in his truck and took off.

I was so rattled, my brain must have shut off, because I didn't think to ask the guy's name or get his plate number. I put the horses in the back pen until I got padlocks for the gates in the front pen. The whole experience scared the poop outta me.
