What brand and size of girth do you use for these saddles?
I am going to finally order one! Just pray for me that it fits Legado.
Thanks!

You need to order a 22" girth. You'll need it for our small horses. The dressage saddle (not sure about the others) has long skirts and the billets start at the end of the skirts. With Rosie (she's 13.3, but pretty round) I had to punch holes at the tops of the billets on both sides to get my 24" girth to fit her. I'll need a 22" next summer when she gets in better shape (well, a shape other then "round").
Take your pick of girths, I prefer leather.
CONGRATULAITONS!!! You won't regret it!.
Bonnie I use anywhere from 22-24 in. neoprene. They have to be english style.I have some professional choice that are nice.Don't know if the country supply one is english(or small enough). You should not have any trouble selling the saddle if you don't like it.Do they let you return them? When you get it, ride it a few times before you decide.I think you will like it.........................did you get western fenders?

I have a small dressage girth now, by Professional Choice. It will probably work.
Carol, I ordered the Cheyenne one, so I wonder if the billets are any different?
KAB, no, I didn't order the western fenders, I was thinking about just using some english leathers that I have.
I can't believe I actually ordered one....I have been wanting one of these or the BM. Now as long as hubby doesn't notice I will be fine ;-) Oh well....it's money from my bonus!!

Ask Gail about the billets. Maybe someone else with the Cheyenne will come on and answer you.
I think you will LOVE your saddle. I do mine.

I have an 18" neoprene dressage girth that I got a long time ago from Casa Dosa, but my favorite girth is sheepskin, I have one that is 20", but I also have one that I special ordered that is 40cm, or just a little under 16" that I know will be the one I use the most, because I find the 20" to be a bit too long...the billet straps on the saddle are very long, I didnt' want to have to cut them, and I didn't want to have to punch more holes further up in them either...I have found that 40cm girths are very hard to find.... both the sheepskin girths I have are tagged both by 'Bucas' of Ireland, and 'Horsedream' by'Christ'. The cheapest I could find was on this website, and they ordered the girth for me, in black, from the company, for the same price as the ones they had in stock..nice people..

I like Horsedream tack, I have the bareback pad with the 'poley's' on it, and use it all the time especially in the colder months! :D

I got the shortest dressage girth Gail carries for the London and it fits for now (however my mare is pregnant). I may have to punch more holes or get a different one once my mare gets her shape back next year.
Yes Bonnie it needs the english girth...................the one you have will be fine if it's english.

Hi Everyone,
The Cheyenne saddle has shorter billets. Quite a bit shorter. I would say if you have a treed dressage saddle with a girth that fits it, then it should fit the Cheyenne. With the London's they seem to have quite a bit longer billets. Hope this helps you all!!!
Feel free, anyone, to email or call me with any questions about the saddles or accessories.

I am getting one of the brown Cheyennes....not sure how long I have to wait, not too long. Gail is having it shipped to me instead of to her then to me.
I overnighted the payment...but apparently the post office lady told me that they probably wouldn't be able to get it to Gail overnight because of where she lives. More likely it will get there in two days.
