Have been here since last summer and just now figuring out the Photobucket thing. Let's hope it works.

My main activity is trail riding, though I would love to do parades, demos, etc. Since I don't have a trailer, that is a bit more of a challenge.
Sabrina Ideal is my dream-come-true horse. She will be 7 yrs. on Mar. 1 and is a real sweetheart. She LOVES the trails and is just a happy girl. She is my first horse and I'm having the time of my life with her. What an amazing breed.....so sweet, so willing, such heart and soul, and the ride is just the bonus!!!

Hey...good to see you're riding her in a simple sidepull (I don't know what the fancy Paso term is for that but here in Texas we call them sidepulls. ;-) ) She's beautiful!
Can I ask where you got that fantastic headstall??? :D

Welcome Tiffer, What a beautiful girl you have. You sure are lucky you picked the right breed right off the bat! How did you manage that? Did you research or just get lucky? :D

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. Pasomom, check out the Chit Chat....I just posted a thread about how we were introduced to the breed. My story is there. Well, part of the story. I guess it was perfect timing because I heard about the Paso Fino at an Arabian show, researched the breed and 3 weeks later, the Paso Fino Summit was held 30 minutes from my home. It was ALL over once I laid eyes on them "in the flesh"!!!
CarolN....I got that Columbian jaquima from Luis Figueroa at Buttermilk Farm. Funny story about that.....my bit was accidentally taken to the Nationals, so when I went to ride, all I had was the jaquima. She did fine, but I do use a bit with a loose rein. Go figure, my bit went to the Nat'ls, but my horse didn't!!!
