Last week, Marisa went to school! She is now at Flat Rock Paso Fino Farm in Louisburg, NC, which is about 20 minutes from our home.
We took "before" pictures so that we can compare them to pictures we will take after she gets in training shape. These pictures show her condition now after doing nothing but eating and being the sweetest pet. We are excited about having her trained and seeing what her talents are.
Thank you Lynn Gallup for breeding and raising this very special girl. We love her!

http://www.augk18.dsl.pipex.com/Smileys/c014.gifCongratulations! She looks FABULOUS...and she's gonna do well in school! I do think though...that I might need to ride up there soon, and make sure she's doin' okay (she and a certain red dun filly!).
Keep us posted....anxious to see how she's progressing! :D

Oh, Jeany...Marisa looks really good! She's gotten SOOOO big. She certainly looks a lot like Rosie! We could do 'Matched Pairs" class.

Marisa's looking really like a proper young lady! Congrats for taking such good care and loving her........the little diva that she is, but a fine one!
Where's the pic with you in it (faces)? haha... I liked that one!
Her mama Maja is getting back in shape too after 2 years of producing big strapping colts; she had a nice conditioning ride yesterday. One day they'll (mom and daughter) get to see each other again.
Keep us posted with pics.

I'm sure I've mentioned her before Carol. She's the one who had zebra stripes all over her legs (front and rear) as wide as your thumb.

Carol, that must be why Rosie appeals to me so much; she reminds me of Marisa. And I will see if I can get pictures of Ali's red dun filly to show you. She is a three-year-old and so gorgeous.
Lynn, Marisa is quite the diva here, but I have a feeling the mares at Ali's will humble her a bit. And she was already nickering at stallions when we took her there! I'll bet she will quit falling in love with our TWH gelding every heat when she comes home. I miss her, but I am excited about seeing her under saddle. And we can visit her as often as we want...it is not far. I will keep posting pictures of her training progess.
