What gait is this horse supposed to be doing as it is surely not trote and does not look to be galope either?

Cindy...I know...I'm a igmo but I see lateral pairs too

Though, if you look at the site...the same horse is shown better. Thanks for sharing Cheri and I looked at the site...still wiping the drool. I want the really dark horse, rider has brown whatever ya call those things, big chaps.

Thank you for posting those pics. They are great!

Does anyone know the names and owners of those horses? What were the placements/results? And, were mares shown in the same class as the stallions? Were A/O's judged with the Professionals?

Was Showtime Magazine there to get interviews and photos????

Showtime was there. However, Cheri works with us on pix, so we just let her do her thing for us. I'm not sure what classes we have video of. I'll have to ask. ;-)

the trocha class was open since there are not a lot of this horses.
there where 5 , 2 of them where A/O, they were all comepting at the same time but judged separately.
professional trocha CLASS:

1. john jairo galvis riding MATANCERO, a trocha colt, very nice owner LAS JOTAS (aida and john jairo)
2. Rodrigo brand riding a (tobias del 8 son) dont know name of the horse, dont kmnow owner.
3. juan Villa, riding FANTASMA. we are the owners.

the trote and galope classes where divided as follows.

colts and fillies together, and mares and stallion separate. In mares john jairo won again... and i dodnt se the other classes. In the a/o joe fajardo won and maritza got 2nd wuth RUBINO....

Lori, AJ,
Thanks for the info. Congrats AJ! Beautifull horse! Was the Trocha class divided into Trocha Pura and Trocha y Galope? I thought I recognized John Jairo. If you find out more on the results, please post if you don't mind. Thanks! Great preview for La Mundial, eh?

thanks! it was good for the first time....
the trocha class was only "trocha pura" since there where not enough horses to do trocha, and trocha and galope,,,, i think it was good to start

AJ, that horse has the lateral legs moving together, not the diagonals. Please explain to me how that is trote. OK, now the picture has been changed. The horse that was posted previously was NOT in trote.

I think it's the same picture...but I posted one that I thought looked "correct" to me for comparison. Did you mistake the one I posted for the original?

No, the origianal picture showed a horse with two lateral legs raised. This is a different picture and shows a horse in trote.

No...the picture has changed and I looked at the end of the work day yesterday for the one with the lateral pairs in motion but couldn't find it there either.

I just want to back Cindy up...there was a different picture. Cheri could you please confirm the edit...I'm grateful to see the pictures at all but with the people on this lists high interest in correct gait we should clarify, please. They are all gorgeous animals, and like I said there are pictures of the same horse in diagonal but that pic had front and rear on the off side (furthest from the camera) suspended.
