I am leaving for New Orleans tomorrow. Anyone down there know what the weather is supposed to be like over the weekend. Looks pretty cold there right now. Should I pack for cold or moderate temps over the weekend?

Yeah, but you gotta remember that here, 40's and 50's are cold. It is a wet, clammy, bone chilling kind of cold. It was *supposed* to be in the 50's today here, but only got in the 40's and it was quite brisk.
Depending on what you want to do, layer your clothes. I suspect there is a visit to the French Quarter in your future?

I don't know. Normally yes but I have heard that it is not safe these days to go wandering around.

I'll be there too...The weather looks like it will be low 50's and rainey...Still has to be better than here (Pa) 9 degrees right now... and still dropping....Brrrrrr.
I'm really looking forward to it anyway...I'm taking jeans and sweat shirts etc.. certainly not worrying about looking great...I've been on a diet for 2 weeks so I can eat my way thru the restaurants....There is a tour that takes you thru the French Quarter by bus and then up the river in a paddle boat...maybe the weather will alllow that...See ya'll there....Maribelle
