By the way, she's a Pappillion, and there's nothing wrong with her ears. ;-)

OMG is she cute! I was going to ask if she was a Pappy. My trainer has a Pappy breeding pair; Pebbles and BammBamm. Peb is a tri, but mostly brown/white and Bamm is b/w. She may breed one last litter from Pebbles and then retire her from being a momma. I think she has had 2, maybe 3 at most, litters.

Oh, she is TOO cute. What a puff ball of fun!
You're not helping my Puppy Fever. I'm really trying to hold out for spring, had a hard time driving past the Humane Society last week!
Your Pap is a doll!

OMG!!! Get that vicious Pitbull away from that precious little pup! What are you doing, trying to get her "murdered"? Don't you know that pitbulls are natural born killers and cannot be trusted?!?!?!? Are you insane? What if the pitbull accidentally swallows the puppy's micro-chip during the "maming" and Satan himself with his unshod hooves comes a'callin' to see what you are up to? Are you going to mount your Paso with the oh-so cruely cut tail and ride, hooters a flappin', for help to the nearest McDonald's where retarded and lazy people work for minimum wage, then ask for their help???? What will the Almighty, aka PFHA, say???

Thanks everyone....she is pretty cute, huh? Its been hard to get any work done today with her here at the office...I squeal eveytime she even moves!
Erin! You will look kinda funny trying to carry your dog around in one of those dog purses! But, she's gonna be much bigger than Kim's fluffballs....inbetween those and Gunta's Tinkerbell.
Barb...you are too much. The cuteness must have overcome you, and made you temporarily insane for a minute there. And yes, that is my ferocious pitbull, Meiha - who played with Bijou from 7pm - 11pm last night until, finally, I broke it up & sent them both to bed. Meiha couldn't wait to share her toys with the pup

Barb - that is seriously the funniest thing I ever!
Hey Abbie - Are you challenging me to a CUTE OFF?

That pup is so cute! OMG, just makes your heart melt...
Nope, i wouldn't get a SINGLE thing done at work with that cutie around.
So? has she discovered the roll of toilet paper yet? i think it took our new dog about 30 seconds for HIS first toilet paper party!

Too cute. I love the Papillion pups. We had one years ago, they are not only cute but extremely smart. When we lost her I looked for another with no luck so I wound up with a Pomeranian. He's pretty cute too. I hope my Pom lives forever, but since he will not, I may look for another Pap.

Abby, that is too cute. Congrats on a gorgeous puppy, your other dog is gorgeous too.
Carol, if you have puppy fever and must rescue one, then I have a Lab puppy with your name on him. Well actually, we call him Cole. He's from the shelter too; we rescued him at Thanksgiving (he was out of time). Six months old and a big ole Labby heart. Don'cha wanna come to NC and adopt him?

Barb, you are hilarious, and it is a gift. I cannot get the image of "hooters a flappin'" out of my head now!

Ha! No...no toilet paper yet, but she has vacuumed every little speck of miscellaneous mystery balls of gawd-knows-what off of my apartment floor :-? ....and she keeps finding more. Its hard to gently tackle her while calmly shoving your finger down her teeny throat, trying to retrieve said speck.
And, no Kim, because I'll lose!

Now, if I was that pit bull...I'd be thinking that puppy looks a LOT like a toasted marshmallow...at the "just right" stage of toasting.

Looks like he's saying Cindy, cindy, cindy.............
Does he need to be your dog??
He is a prime example of a good dog in the wrong place. Why won't people spay & nueter? I just don't get it!
Our last unplanned pregnacy was an older sterile mare and a injured yearling colt. My mistake, will NOT happen again.

I wish he was saying Cindy, Cindy, Cindy. Unfortunately, my current dog named Cole would just lead him astray.

He had a brother that looked just like him. I sprung them both from the shelter right before they ran out of time. The brother has been adopted already, and is well on his way to being an older couple's best boy. Cole is a love; he's going to be a treasure for someone too.

Okay, so here's the question: are Papillions yappy? I've often thought I'd like one, but the only one I've ever met was the yappiest thing in the world. I'd have to kill it!

In my experience I have noticed small dogs do not bark any more than large dogs. The difference is in how they are raised. People tend to spoil small dogs and let them get away with things more. You have to raise them with the same rules as you would a large dog and they are fine. ;-)
That being said, I've owned 3 pomeranians: 2 hardly ever barked and one barks but will stop if told too. My sister does rescue work for Yorkies and it's the same situation there. Some don't bark - others bark. My guess is this is the same for any breed of dog, large or small. It's in how it was raised/trained.

You better send him to me before that mean ole pit bull gets him!!
Just too cute! I want a little dog like that, my husband would kill me if I dressed it up. Have four big ones now so no small ones anytime soon

I have had 3 Poms and 1 Pap. Of them only one of the Poms is yappy. She does have a bit of an excuse though. She was a Momma in a puppy mill, and when her owner died I adopted her. To that point she had never been socialized. So if she see's a stranger she yaps, or if she hears a noise she yaps. She is actually the best watchdog I have. I don't mind her alerting me of "stuff", but I haven't figured out how to make her shut up.

...and one barks but will stop if told too.
And by "told to", she means threatening to punt it out of the 2nd story window.
Erin...I love those polka-dot jammies! They are fleece, and so snuggly...but, I know, I'm a dork.... 8-)
That chocolate lab is adorable! I agree that someone from APF should immediately adopt him.
Jane...even though I've only had Bijou for 3 days now, she has barely made a peep! We've been at home with neighbors going in and out (with our pitbull barking, but she didn't follow suit), at work from 9-5pm with customers/employees/lunch breaks, been to a couple different stores - even Petsmart a bunch with other dogs walkin around, and at the farm doing chores with MANY different animals....got nuthin'. She barked ONCE when I set her down for the first time after I got her home, and haven't heard a yipp since.

She is WAAAAY Cute Abbey. Wouldn't last long at my house. Would probably get stepped on my clutzy 100 lb golden retriever.
Speaking of barking my golden is an unstoppable barker. He is fine, until something sets him off (a truck backing up on Elm Street, Someone coming to the house, a deer in the yard...whatever) then he "forgets" to stop when whatever set him off goes away. I am quite sure he forgot what he was barking at to begin with. So I have to go get him and bring him in. He rarely barks in the house.
