Oh, I liked that...and could certainly relate. My 'cow pony' Tina would head back after a turn-back cow, weather you went with her or not! LOL There really is NOTHING in this world like riding a horse with a lot of cow in it. They love it.

And you BETTER have a real GOOD seat when you're riding one of these, or your horse will be doing JUST like that horse in the first video.

Did anybody watch America's Horse Championships last weekend?
There were some of the very best cutting and reining horses competing (AQHA).

I taped it but have only watched about half of it so far... very good footage!

that is some fun stuff to do! i just got started a few weeks ago, working with some cutting horses that belong to a friend of mine. got a three year old cutting horse prospect here that is coming along really well.

try riding that way without holding the saddle horn! it can be done!

OUCH! I could have SKIPPED the one that flipped. I've been under one that reared over on me. No fun and I was lucky to not have a saddle that day, so I survived.
