Kudos to our members. Over ten percent of voting members sent in absentee ballots to vote their own votes in this election. Regardless of who those votes were cast for I think the enthusiasm and interest that this shows by our members is a great thing. The Association belongs to the members and the only thing that can take the power away from the members is apathy. I think this vote shows that the members are not going to let their decisions be dictated to them. Keep it up.

Cool. Sounds like it might be a good time to start a movement in each region to force them ALL to count and split votes for the Membership meetings. It's only once a year...I think every region should be able to talk to their members once a year!

10% ????? Impressive.

FANTASTIC MEMBERS KEEP IT UP!

Carol and all...it's MORE than once a year. You have a voice in each and every event that affects members. Let's keep it up! Remember the BOD is still allowed to vote YOUR vote in proxy at each and every BOD meeting.

If you care about what is happening in PFHA, obviously you do, then care about YOUR vote and what the BOD does with it every quarter.

YES, YOU CAN CHANGE HOW PFHA DOES BUSINESS. Start with your region today. Email, send a letter, attend if you can, but if you can't still let your region know that you DEMAND to be informed, you DEMAND communications from PFHA, and you DEMAND a true process to determine the direction of PFHA. Don't stop now. Let's get 'er going!

Start demanding that ANY AND ALL proposals be given time-sensitive process. Ask for a minimum 30 days for review by ALL committees and members as needed/required. Demand proper discovery and research into sensitive issues, demand feedback from your BOD. It's time to start making PFHA work as intended. By the members for the members.
