Hi all,
It's my understanding that by becoming a member of the PFHA, you automatically get subscription to Paso Fino Horse World magazine.
How long does it typically take for the subscription to begin? I became a PFHA member in November, and I've yet to receive a magazine. Do you have to take additional steps, or something?
Thanks!

No, it should come automatically. But if you joined in November, you were probably too late for December's issue, but you should have gotten January's. It's a nice issue with the Farm Directory inside.
You might contact the editor, Stephanie Dunkin steph@pfino.com and let her know. Make sure to tell her you want January's issue too!

I'd suggest contacting the PFHA office Bob Linteau, assistant director of operations. Memberships and magazine subscriptions all go thru the office. The PFHW is part of the membership. Bob's email is dirops@pfha.org. The director's CJ Marcello email is execdir@pfha.org. You should get a reply back from one of them.

I am not sure if something has changed with the shipping or something, but I am having a very hard time getting my magazine as well. I have been a member for years and always subscribed to the mag (even before it was included). I realized early January that I had not received November or December issue. I called the magazine and they put them both in the mail right away and I received them, but now it is January 20th and I still have not received January.. not sure if I am going to have to call again.
Anyone else having problems? Especially out of country?

I already send an email to Bob Linteau, but haven't gotten a response yet... I'll give it a few more days.

I had let my membership lapse a bit, so when I sent my dues in, it took at least 3 months for me to get my first PFHW mag.

Bob and CJ are at the PFHA Convention today in New Orleans. The drive is a long one to Plant City, FL so they may be a bit slower than normal in answering.... whether they will be back in office Monday or maybe Tuesday. I would imagine some time during the coming week you should hear back.
I have been getting my magazine somewhat later then I used to, but January has been here in NC for about 2 weeks. Camilla, I'd check with the PFHA office. They should know if you are having problems getting it on time or if not at all, so they can find out what the problem is.

I'm just glad to know it doesn't only happen to Showtime.
We have had the hardest time w/the magazines and the mail too. I send all mine out to you guys Priority just for that reason.
Always let us magazines know when you don't get your issue. I think someone at the Post Office likes Paso Finos. :-?
