Bella Forma...how exciting??? ;-)

I think Versatility or Trail would be a better choice for Marketing.

Not that I don't think Bella Forma classes are THE most important classes in the show. That is where people should shop for their breeding stock.

Thank you for the info! :D Seems I am always missing Pasos on RFD. It'll be fun to see a bella forma class, and I do agree with Carol that Trail or Versatility classes would be good for marketing too. People need to see that Pasos can do more than taca-taca down the board.

I have yet to see a BF class on RFD TV... I'd love to watch one.
I'd rather see BF than see a bunch of people out on a trail ride...just riding along, riding along... with nothing much else...

The Gallopando film that just aired kind of ticked me off when it said the size of a Paso Fino was 13.3HH to 14.1HH... they did not say "average size"...they said they were that size which kind of indicates you can't get a BIGGER one... I wish they were more carefull about things like that.

Welllll...while I'm on my rant....the last thing I want to see on those trail rides are horses who appear lame and are ouchy on the trail while being ridden... don't much like seeing horses rear in the background as they come up to a pen full of cattle (I'd DARN SURE cut that blip) nor do I like seeing horses who appear on the verge of losing control... that kind of "marketing" we can all live without...

Kinda like shooting ourselves in the HOOF is it not???

Don't get me wrong... I do want to see Pasos on RFD TV... I want the editing to be "wiser"... ;-)

Terry, can you tape it for me? I don't get RFD. Corona just had a little sister last night, by the way.

Who had a baby? and WHERE are the pictures?

the only thing worse than no DSL at home is no RFD-TV . . . . .

See, that's why I tried to hide that here. I knew pictures would be required. Was just hoping noone noticed. I'll post some when I get some. The mare is a Vitral daughter. The filly Corona that will be in that class on the RFD show is a daughter of Capuchino. The one that was born last night is from my stallion El Turista who is a Capuchino son. So they are more than half sisters but I am not quite sure how to compute how much more. LOL

well CarolU the same email mentions this
2006 BELLA FORMA CLASS 77 NOW AVAILABLE
Class 77, Bella Forma is now available on DVD from PFHA. It is narrated by Sharon Londono and Helen Frost. After the class there is a short clip by an Equine Dental Technician showing the process used to care for your horses teeth. Price is $9.95, plus shipping.

I am hoping that the narration will make the tape a useful training/marketing tool for people wanting to learn about the breed ..Will have to wait to see..

Terry I know what you mean about editing BUt I do feel they have made some strides..I complained to my regional rep who I hope passed it on ..about how the tapes were also bad in the respect that they did not have enough horse time. They had interviews with people and all you had for 5 mins or more was a head shot of that person talking..or 5 mins of campers sitting around a fire..(I look at these tapes as someone who does an Expo Booth..you have to be able to grab someone's attention as they walk by your booth 3-10 seconds. If all that is on the TV is people and not the horse you are promoting ..boring)I suggested they need to use voice over or at least the person speaking split screened or small area in the corner..The last tape I saw they did basically this..So they are trying..

Terry, did you notice the 'nose-fly' episode we all had on our trailride film debut? I was a little embarrassed about that. We did stop filming and slathered war-paint on all the noses, then continued on our way. FYI - prairie-dog towns and nose-flies.... not a good combination. Al was very good about cutting out all the scenes when horsies pooped, though ;-)

No Debbie...I don't think I noticed that...mostly I was referring to horses being ridden on the "green way" in Florida somewhere...
