But is he NOT the epitimy of why some studs should not breed to mares! I mean, whoever bred him was breeding just b/c they had a stud and a mare.

Jane, I know, extremely sad. I was talking to Shirley the other day and she said you could just "feel" it, he just wants to be loved!

Look at the very first pic of him, the sadness just radiates from me, now look at that last pic, the one with the edema, there's hope and some happiness in that picture.

He just truly breaks my heart...to think of the years of abuse he's seen. That is the reason I cannot part with any of my horses. I mean, it's ridiculous! I have TEN of them ... and right now, not even ONE gets ridden ... but there is no WAY I'm selling any of them! Can't guarantee they'll have a nice life, so they'll stay right here, thank you very much!

Jane- right there with you, if I have to choose between the two of mine I'd sell Serano first, but he's the one I don't want to sell because he's the most difficult of all and can't stand people roughhandling him so he's the most likely to end up abused
