Ok Phoebe needs a registered name. I need you guys to tell me which one you like from the following list, new suggestions are also welcome. I will pick the ones that are most popular for the name choices on her registration application. My spanish is not good, so some of these names may not make sense...some of them are just spanish names too.
1-Riqueza de Dorada
2-Batata de Dorada
3-Realeza de Dorada
4-Confidencia de Dorada
5-Rosita de Dorada
6-Valencia de Dorada
7-Dulcinea de Dorada
8-Zoraida de Dorada
9-Graciela de Dorada
As you can see, the "de Dorada" part is a given. I want to use Dorada in her name as that was part of her dam's name and with Phoebe being her last foal, she needs to be honored. I am not worried about having to formulate a barn name from any of these since I am going to call her Phoebe regardless.
here is the girl that needs the name:

1- Graciela de Dorada
2 -Dulcinea de Dorada
Since she has Ejemplo thru dam Dorada and Guala thru Cortes, I like
- Graciela de Dorada the best as picking up on the letters of those ancestors names.
The registration special starts April 1st. Have you had her DNA'ed yet to verify parentage?

I thought the Graciela name would be a little tribute to the angel that sent her my way ;-)
Are there too many Dulcinea's out there????

I've got an idea! How do you say "Will Work For Food" in Spanish? Whatever it is, I think that should be her name.

Pfha is offering a reduced fee for registration of qualified PF horses over 720 days of age from April 1 to May 15. Complete details will be in the Feb. PFHW. I believe it will be a $175 fee..not postive on that figure; doesn't include dna kit. (need PFHA membership current). Its a small window period to do this, so you need to have your ducks in a row to that time and not procrastinate. See the age limit 720 days... seems to be encouraging PF horses from other approved registries.

BTW - I vote for Dulcinea....
I loved Man of LaMancha and I think YOU are her Impossible Dream come true. I think it is very appropriate!
(and I've done and seen this play umpteen times, so I know!)
