What ever happened to? Jan (I think)

The lady who used to visit the other board. I think her name was Jan. She had a lovely grey mustang stallion and some peruvian pasos that she was crossing with him. She had just gotten a pinto paso mare. She also had donkeys and zebras and zebra hybrids.

I really liked her contributions to the board.

I would also like to see some updated pics of those babies she had. I believe that one was born black and white but was going to grey.

Maybe she is here and I have missed something

I don't know if anyone remembers her, but I miss Jo Ann Dale. It's been years since she's been around though.

She's already here and reading, then. mtnrdr (or something like it- she's on down the list) was one of the newest signups either this or last week. I monitor them regularly for trolls and spammers. (she fit neither description, of course, btw)

How do you recognize the trolls? Do they have any giveaway signs - like bad English? :razz:

Some of our trolls are people we already know. Others have strange web addresses like casinos. And there are other clues.

We learned a lot about trolls in the last couple of years. There are several varieties. Some have no real involvement in the board but just like to stir things up for fun. They will make outrageous statements - usually on hot button topics - hoping to get responses. Other have real or imagined issues and are out for revenge. These can be really nasty. Then we have those who are really ill and who again can cause very serious problems. The first type are generally harmless and can be very funny.

The second two have to be stopped very quickly because if people take them seriously they can cause real damage to businesses and reputations by spreading lies.
