Well I was there at 8:15 pm and then again around 8:25 then again and again and again and again.
I tried Netscape. That got me logged in and I could post for about a minute
I tried IE ver 6. Forget it! It hung up before going into chat
I tried Firefox. It would log me in then freeze up.
At home I have dial-up and that appears to be the problem. I also tried again later and saw the bandwidth was ate up around 10 pm.
So two hours trying to get to chat. I suspect the chat program uses allot of bytes to refresh or run the program. My dial up can't handle a data dump like that. Well it can and then maybe an hour later I'll be able to post again.
Lori, the screen completely totally freezes. I can't refresh, I can't type, I can't even get the window to close properly. What I notice was my modem was humming and allot of bytes were being received. In Firefox I got a message that Adobe was trying to run a movie????? and it was taking so long that it might cause my browser to quit. That's when I gave it up.
I'll test it again later when I know no one is using the chat program to see if I duplicate last night's fiasco. Sorry people! I guess we'll cancel all future plans until it's figured out.

For the chat program at pasopedigree, use Firefox only!!!
I've tried the pasopedigree chat with IE ver6 (says browser will support it)
What happens is IE hangs up refreshing the screen. You can post but can't see your post and can't see anyone else's until it refreshes the data. IE seems to be haphazard about it too. Sometimes it's ok and other times you will think no one is chatting with you. It can go on for several minutes before IE refreshes the data.
Netscape will not support firecamp chat programs. No matter what you can't see the text from the chat.
With firefox, it takes a few minutes to log in with dial up but once in the chat is instantaneous and works VERY well.
Google for Firefox and download it for free.

I got your message Professional! Unfortunately I could not make it. I had to leave early Saturday morning to an event (5 am depature) so had to get my sleep in before leaving next day.
Count me in for next time! I'll pm you about some other options. We will keep trying! Success is only a matter of time.
