Have you posted any recent pics of your black colt I may have missed?
Got pics? ...

No, I tried to take some the other day but he was not posing well for me so they turned out like crap. Kind of hard to get their attention and take pictures at the same time. He kept running up to me to see what I was doing. Could have had some really good nose shots. Will try again next time I am out with the camera.

Throw a lit pack of firecrackers down the hill and get ready.

I tried throwing rocks down the hill which made him run but then he would not stop in the right place. I do have a left over roman candle like thing from New Years. :confused

Get some helium balloons. Apparently, Pasos are deathly afraid of them. And even though I think my guys are gorgeous, they look really good when they are worrying about helium balloons eating them!

Tell ya what works for me... I have one of those key chains that is battery powered, that makes sounds like an alien spacecraft, a machine gun, and several other sounds depending on what button you push....
there are nine choices I think... a sound a horse has not heard before usually interests them quite a bit, and you get "ears forward" and curoius expressions...
Of course a plastic grocery bag tied to the end of a longe whip that you wave over the ground at ground level works pretty good too!

Hey guys, the best motion maker I have found is an umbrella. The striped ones work the best. Open it up, spin it around your head----instant dragon going to eat them up. One day I was outside playing with the young children and had just bought one of those bubble making devices that makes hundreds of bubbles in an instant. The wind carried the bubbles floating over the pasture by the house. They all went bonkers. Their flight just caused the bubbles to chase them. Quite a funny scene that day.

Remote control cars work good too. But before long they are over it
