The infamous Ursula aka Chewie. Barb, look closly and you will see saddle marks - She has begun working for a living. She is smart, smooth and acts like she has always known how to be ridden. She is still very narrow tho. I may just throw her back in the pond for another year to grow. Going to be pretty darn tall for a paso.

I think Tia will turn into a beauty in a few years. There were times I posted no pictures of Rosie on here...they wern't too pretty! LOL

Chewy will get wider. Just watch. Some don't widen out until they're done growing UP. I had a 4-year-old here for training that I swore the wind would blow over. At six you wouldn't recognize the same horse.

Carol - You are SO right. She turns 4 May 1. This particular bloodline you have to "hide behind the barn" until they turn 7. This will be a BIG mare at 7 years. Right now I feel like I should be carrying HER. She has 1/4 Peruvian blood and the smooth comes thru. She'll make someone a nice riding horse some day.

I remember when Centauro got off the trailer after I bought him... from the side he was the typical beautiful, cresty necked stallion. Then he stepped off the trailer and was lead toward me and he almost disapeared!! :shock:

Good to see Tia!

I can see Tia's mom Cassie and half sister Marietta from "my new PC space" this afternoon in the front pasture. Marietta is looking very gangly; she'll be 1 yr in 3 weeks, and is almost as tall as mom.
