Why is the forum so slow? Is it just me or is it the site? I feel like I am on dial up. :cry:

To say it's slow is a definite understatement. It's barely working, in fact I couldn't get on this morning because it said the bandwidth was exceeded.

It's not just you Cindy...it's taking 20-40 seconds to open each page. The bandwidth problem started last night and I guess Lori bought some more this morning.

Not sure why it's soooooooooooooo slooooooooooooooooow, but tomorrow starts a new month. :D

One thing is for sure, It sure makes you appreciate the fact that you are NOT on dial up, having to go back to this kind of speed temporairly! :D

Yeah . . . but I AM on dial-up, and it's taking at least two full minutes to load every page. I have to pick and choose, or I'll have the phone line tied up all day.

Sorry guys. It was an impromtu decision to switch servers/hosters. But hopefully after the full transition is made, we will have much more bandwidth and better customer service. 8-) Hopefully by tonight things will be running faster.

Okay people, I am on dial-up so I don't have to tell you just how slow this is for me.
As Sofia from the Golden Girls on tv would say "picture this".
I love the site and people on it so much and want to post a reply. I click to post a reply, it takes forever and ever. Still waiting for computer to respond, and wait some more. But, it takes so long for the little box to come up that I die of old age before I get to post reply.

I'm on the fasted DSL available and the site is painfully slow for me. About 1 minute per page to open. But thats better then "exceeds bandwidth".
What can I say I'm an Americanpasofinos forum junkie :lol:

It is only the teeniest bit faster this evening for me. I am on dialup so this really hurts...open a page, go do something and maybe it is up by the time I get back! :lol: I sure hope it speeds up a little more. <insert snail emoticon here>

I don't know Lori, but I don't think the new server is cutting it. Not sure what the answer to the bandwidth problem is, but this ain't it. :-?

This is great. And fast even for being on dial-up.
There is one thing that I discovered when this BB was down.
And this is really very, very bad and very sad.
I am so dependent on this site for entertainment and information that I am ashamed of myself. This little BB seems to be my whole life and that is bad, very bad. I am trying to tell myself that it must be my handicape and that I am alone up here. hummmm That seems like a good excuse. I think I will go with that.
