Sporthorse, I tried to do it, but the pic is way too big.
If you size it before you post it at Webshots (maybe to 500 pixels wide), then just go to the 'view full size' link. When you get there, highlight and 'copy' than URL. Then come into the bb post, click on the 'img' button, click 'edit, paste (or ctrl V) then, click on the 'img' button again - you shoul have the pic in your post.

"Just" a buckskin, indeed, a really gorgeous buckskin. IMO.

Buckskin.....as there is no dorsal stripe, primitive marks or dark head (that I can see in the photos) ....that would classify him as a grullo.
Palomino on the other!! Hah !!

the reason I ask is while he sheds the dorsal stripe hides and the primative marks and and raccoon eyes are seasonal and his points change from black to brown seasonally too his head gets full of color leopard/ ink spots do always stay I will get pictures.

"True" dorsal stripes cannot "hide"... it would be there no matter what.
Mila, my buckskin..has the countershaded dorsal that shows up only in summer and is "blonde" in winter...
My dun filly...shows the dorsal and leg bars year 'round.
Ditto, a dorsal stripe is there all the time. What you see is counter shading, which is something different. Here they touch on Countershading, but there are better sites, I just can't find them now. http://members.aol.com/battyatty/index.htm#ccr

what I mean by hide is if I groom away the dead hair his stripe is as there as his father and sister Pocita

yes... Mila is the same way..that is a countershaded dorsal... any color horse can have one...bay, chestnut, etc....

:-? I can't tell if he's got a stripe or not from the photo angles. I think buckskin though..he's got the creme thing going on, definitely...maybe buckskin/dun. Likely look like Leo! And isn't Zar a giant!!??!!

SORRY it worked in the preview pane but not when posted to the BB!!
Just given this a whirl for ya to see if this tactic of posting pics works for you like it did on mine posted to Hot 2 Trot
And it appears that it does... Here's what I did. Pull up the photo whereever you have it posted currently. Then right click on the picture and select "Properties" from the dialog box. In the properties box select the address for the pic and right-click to pick 'Copy'. Then back in your BB posting add your image tags from the line right under the subject line and paste it in..... Hope that helps! Feel free to email me if it doesn't

If you do a search on countershading on the equine color sites you'll see that a dorsal stripe that is "hidden" like that is counter shading. Besides, I can't see any other dun markings, and it takes more than the dorsal to make a dun ;-) and the Dorsal HAS to be present at all times for it to be a dun. I really learned a LOT when I did my reasearch about Michico, and I find the color genetics quite fascinating.
