Cindy, are you sure you're high bidder? I have the first of this book (by Mejia) when it came out in spanish... has a different cover design with Contrapunto head neck view. This is the english later edition design shown. Happy bidding...they cost $100 when sold originally...at least mine did.

Cindy....I'm NOT bidding at all....but tell you what....if you want to bid that book high enough to get it....and will LOAN it to me for scanning...I will pay for half the cost of the book, and you can KEEP the book...O.k.?

I also have a very good book binder lady in Colorado Springs that can rebind that book.... sounds from the description..the book will need to be rebound.

I can paypal 1/2 cost immediatley upon end of auction. I can get the book back to you when you come here in May....

That could be doable. I know that the binding on those books was not good orginally so rebinding it would be cool. And, by the way, thanks for the DVDs. What do I owe you for them?

I had to have Mi Vida En El Mundo de Los Caballos rebound as those volumes have terrible plastic finger "printer" type binding...so they won't open up all the way and eventually break... The lady here rebound it with sewing it... the "real way"... pricey but it now lays flat ! It was a very thick volume....

Yeah, the binding is weak. I got mine brand new and open it like it's 100 years old because of that.
