I would HIGHLY recomend going. They were in Perry this past weekend and it was incredible! The format is different and it is very informative.

Ditto on the recommendation. Parelli's and their students are amazing and just to see the horses do such amazing feats is worth it. I like the whole enchilada. :D please go if you can, come back and post even if you don't prefer him to your brand of natural horsemanship. I like all brands since they all work and that is in what works by accident or by old engrained other methods, naturally ;-) . The horses have been training humans for many centuries.Have fun.learn to think like a horse even better than you do now. Lindsay does not like Parelli's style but I catch her looking at the shows on RFDor my DVDs and even sometimes reading my books /mags and as long as the horses prosper and profit from the osmosis I feel that is great

Mason Dixon is also having a clinic with Carlos Toban those same two days in Delaware so Paso people in that area might be torn..

I did a Carlos Tobin clinic a couple of years ago at DonMar Farm in NJ and found it interesting, BUT, Parelli I feel is a different caliber.... ;-)

I have also done a Carlos Tobon clinic, but have to agree with you Colette, Parelli's are the 'whole package.' I have Zar in Level III now, and most of my others somewhere in Level II. I bought the new Horse Behavior and Liberty set, and I have to say that I feel every penny was well spent. I have become a much better horseman and my horses are happy and confident.

Parelli's will be here in August and I already have my tickets, and those to the Pagosa Springs Conference in September. I look forward to it all year.

Colette, if you do Parelli with your horses, you should join our Pasos in Parelli Yahoo group. We now have 87 members, not all active, but a good group for help and encouragment.

Thanks Carol! I will join today :D

I am excited about getting started with the Parelli Program with my gelding. It will be great for us! I have had him for a couple of years now after overcoming some pretty awful past abuse issues with him- he is already so trusting of me. The games will be a great training tool and something he will also get into.

I will be attending the Parelli event with my mom (Sharon) hwo also frequents this board and will be sure to give a full report and hopefully so pictures!

No moolah to spend on clinics...you can come see me at the Expo booth at Harrisburg....I will be the frazzeled looking one ;-)

Plus It is either that weekend or the one before that my 20 yr high school reunion is (oh joy) and I have a mare that probably will be here to foal due April 24th..(i keep getting mixed messages whether the mare will be in her new home or still here..but if she dont go by the end of Feb or VERY early march I aint letting her go until post foaling...hmm might get me outta that reunion....
