Can someone point me in the right direction. I need to find a place to store some inseminations. the facility where they are currently stored is closing shop. Does anyone have any suggestions.

Thanks
Denisse

I assume you are looking to house straws of frozen semen? you can store your own if you get a nitrogen tank and have a service that will come recharge the tank (thats what my vet does.He has a couple tanks at his clinic) If you have any dairy farms around you might check with them I believe they use a lot of frozen semen? No 'repro' vets in your area you can ask? (I am assuming you want to keep them close to home)

Most stallion stations should offer this service and have ultra cold freezers with back-up systems and alarms. Yes, you can do it yourself, but there are problems and hazards with liquid nitrogen storage and handling. It's not something people should go into lightly.

Call local top breeding barns in your area, or near. There should be something near you.
