Favorito Que Tal daughter. Wasn't Favorito Stella's fave stallion?...and he could do an awesome largo!?

Anyone else notice that both horses were described with hoof problems? I wonder what happened to them that they had such troubles...both are sold.

We can only pray that these gals ended up with good people.

That second mare looked really nice. I am willing to be that her "navicular" issues could be solved with some time, patience and a good farrier. Such a sweet face on that one too. She is in her prime!

I could understand the other one to a degree because of her age. There are not a good many people out there looking to pay "good money" for a geriatric horse.

Has anyone tried to do a followup and see who these girls went to? IF they went to someone bad, you could probably offer them a couple hundred more and get the horse.

I am pretty sure I met the gal that sold these horses. She bought a mare from me over ten years ago. Very nice and good horse person. I am sure they went to good homes.

Bailarina is a Favorito daughter..just look at her head, it's a dead give away. Feliza is a Favorito granddaughter through her dam. The owner took great care to see they went to caring homes.

I saw Feliza a short time ago..she is doing quite nicely in her new home. Her pasture mates were very welcoming to her, as if she'd always been there, and the process of treating the navicular is well under way. She is big, beautiful, and just as sweet as she looks in that photo. She AND her new owner made out quite well, I'd say.

My mare is bred to Pazarro...so I'm wondering who's head the baby will have, as my mare has Vandidoso Royal, who also stamped his progeny with his head. It'll be some war.

Great pics and great pedigree...but at the age of the one mare what can they do with her? and the second will she be sound to ride too?? same person get both?

Kerry W

Different people...Bailarina is going to be used for very light riding only. She isn't all crippled up..just needs for whoever has her to be aware of her issues.

Feliza may be sound for riding with proper management..she's saddle trained, and well gaited. She's more likely to be used as a broodmare, MAYBE a little light riding, if she can get her sound again. Her new owner has other horses to ride, so there is no pressure or time frame for Feliza to worry about. Right now, she's just a nice piece of pasture art.

That is why she had them priced so low...she figured that not a lot of people would want horses with the issues they have, but she knew both buyers personally, and knew they'd be cared for.
