At work today there was no one to cover the state line tack department and so being the only person in the store who has a clue about horses I was working double duty. Well I got a phone call from a nice woman with a new paso who was looking for a blanket. I was very excited to hear she has a paso.
She's very nice and she just got her horse from FL. He sounds like a cutie. Well she lives in Pepperell (sp?) MA. She's looking for a paso trainer somewhere close. Does anyone know of any paso people in that area?
I invited her to join us on the board. She said she'd love to so we should have another newbie soon. :D
It's so nice to see another paso person in MA!! Too bad I still can't find anyone close enough to me to ride on a regular basis. :( Oh well. I guess I just have to buy one for John to ride. LOL

Does anybody know Joanne that recently bought Romeo from Bobby Yunits? I think she lives pretty close to Pepperell. I think she lives in Groton MA. I'll have to e-mail her. When she brought Romeo home she said she didn't know of any pasos nearby (back in Nov).

Yes- I spoke to that woman on the phone. I bet she'd be happy to know there's another paso close by. Oh and a great rainer your friend could send her paso to is Luis at Buttermilk Farm in Davenport NY. He's the best!! ;-)

Ditto on Luis at Buttermilk Farm. However, if she is not willing to go that far, wasn't there someone in NH on the BB recently who had some really nice Paso's??? Help me out Erin....I don't know whether they train, but Pepperel is very close to the border. If she's new, she probably doesn't want to be too far away from her "baby"!!! Maybe she would like some help with how to ride/cue them. Just a thought.

she got her new paso from a friend in FL who out grew him. He's 11yrs old and just under 14 hands. He hasn't been ridden in like 6 years that's why she wants a trainer.

Crap. I forget where Joanne lives...she's a pretty hardcore rider too, so I bet she'd be a great help to this woman....
I could always get her info from Bobby....
