Is anyone else having this problem.........while trying to open a page it goes to a site or whatever, that says...."Bad Request" you have sent a request that isn't valid or some such nonsense??

This just happened when I went to access the main page of Lori's site and I had backspace and remove everything from the backslash (/) on........then it went right to the main page and from there, I got here.

This is strange, huh

Hope it's not just my machine.

Are you using a Mac?\\

I am indeed using a Mac.......OMG don't tell one of those crappy virus things has become intelligent enough to crawl into a Mac?

I use a Mac, too, and occasionally I get the same problem.

Here is how you fix it: Delete/Remove all your cookies. If you're using Safari as your web browser, go to the "preferences"-->"security", and click on "show cookies." It'll then give you the option of deleting them all. Do it.

Instantly, the forum will load again :)

True - that will give you a temporary fix. I am also using Safari 2.0.3 with System 10.4.6.

This is directly related to cookies sent with APF ads - probably the new ads at the top/bottom of pages. When those appeared, the problem started. You also can't just turn off the cookies since you can't log on without them...

The only permanent fix will be for the webmaster to correct the problem.

Is it only this site that you're having problems with?

The reason I ask is that there were several major server 'denial of service' attacks this weekend. Lots of people have had problems all over.

I'm using Camino as a browser since Safari became as slow molasses and why it has done that is far beyond me, so I deleted all cookies in Camino prefs. After doing that I went to reply to this and it took me back to the sign page. Odd since I was already signed on???

I am very glad to know that my Mac does not have a problem.

Thanks all for the ideas and help.

This seems to be a Mac-specific problem.... which is unusual since Macs have extremely infrequent problems with the internet.... or anything else for that matter... ;-)

I was having the same problem. I emailed Lori and she said to dump my cookies, so now I'm back on. :D I tried Navigator, Safari and Firefox and had the same problem.
