Well, I grew up riding trail horses. After college, I stopped riding. When my daughter was 5 yrs old, she saw the movie "SPIRIT" and came home with her mom saying, "Daddy, let's buy a pony." Well, I told her we would buy a horse. I went looking for horses and rode Arabians, QH, TWH. Almost all were too tall for me. (I'm 5'4"). I googled "small horse" and found something called a Paso Fino. I had never heard of them. I found an unregistered 13 year old close to Nashville, and I was hooked. I then bought a gelding sight unseen from Florida...best danged ride I've ever been on. Then we bought our first registered Paso. Lovely animal. We then rescued two young pinto Pasos. I am working with a Puerto Rican trainer here in Nashville and having a blast! Hope to visti here regularly.

ok, if the pix are already on your computer, just upload them to www.photobucket.com *be sure to choose the "message boad" size option before hitting the upload button. After the pix are there, just copy the IMG code under the pic, and paste it here in your post on APF.
I like to have both sites up and just minimize back and forth. ;-)

I guess out of all our horses, he's the one we should be proudest of. He is El Eclipse de Capuchino. I think his bloodlines are the best of our crop. The grey horse was our first. He is not registered. I don't know his history at all. His name is Frodo. He came with that name. The bay is Salcero. He is not registered. His daddy is Caviar de la Loma. His mama is Cumbia. We rescued the two pintos. They were being neglected. Both are registered. Papers don't mean much to us. Don't know much about pedigree. We love Frodo the best. I chose the message board size, but they sure look like they are too big for the board.

Forgot to tell ya'll our pintos' names. The brown and white is Captain America...came with that name. They say it looks like he has a shape of the United States on his side. The little black and white's registered name is Bola de Color. My daughter didn't much like the name Bola. She calls him Regalo de Color. When our trainer looked at Regalo's papers and found out that he had been gelded before we got him, he was very distressed. Apparently, he looks good on paper.

I don't think they are too big, they are not distorting the board, at least on my monitor they're not...
Thanks for posting them, they are all very nice!!! Frodo looks sweet and that bay is a TANK!!! Lot's of PR blood in him..and I think the pintos are nice too!! :D
