Awfully good blood there.
How disgusting for a "blue blood" like him to have to put up with purple reins, and saddle pad no less!!!!!! Next it will be one of those purple nylon glow in the dark head stalls and purple bit guards!!!!!

Hey...you don't see Shelley dressing up in purple PJ's to ride him!
Poor horse. :-? :-? :-?
You know, I really think a silver concho breast collar and royal BLUE appointments are more appropriate.
Purple is for pimps.

Isn't pink awesome? Let's go for a (sort of) side-by-side comparison:
Pink:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v135/silverhorse/Victoriababymare/face.jpg
Or casual blue?
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v135/silverhorse/Victoriababymare/victoria2.jpg
For the REAL traditionalists, though, here's plain Puritan white rope:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v135/silverhorse/Victoriababymare/ShowLetter.jpg
Or black formalwear:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v135/silverhorse/Victoriababymare/blaquima.jpg
Or maybe contempo-cas' burgundy with the tousled look?
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v135/silverhorse/Victoriababymare/burgundyhalter.jpg
What about in the buff?
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v135/silverhorse/Victoriababymare/nohalter.jpg
Buff with hair fixed?
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v135/silverhorse/Victoriababymare/maneside.jpg
Just a necklace?
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v135/silverhorse/Victoriababymare/babyhug.jpg
So many CHOICES! Isn't it CONFUSING? Just wears me out:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v135/silverhorse/sleepybear.jpg
Piques my curiosity:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v135/silverhorse/zumieye/twoboys.jpg
But there's something about a tricked-out gray horse that makes my eyes just light right up!

Welll, all right- there's something I haven't told you all...

Deb, that pink halter came from Mirna Quintana, and I got the leadrope from our semi-local tack store. 8-)
There. I said it. I bought a pink halter for my boys, and yes, I used it once on Ickis. It's just been sitting there until recently.
Teehee, this is fun

CHECKMATE! :D
Have I some explaining to do?
Let's just say I have a very LARGE bun in a very FAR AWAY oven for now, and I was really scared to jinx it until I found out a lot more. I'll tell the "Why Poni Is Scared of Jinxing Long Trips That Cost Money" story later on. Someone posted a freebie, someone else went to look at her and said "OMGGRAYFREEMARECALLPONI!!!"....and the rest is history, apf.com-style :D . Bear in mind that everything could still entirely fall apart, but I hope not.
I thought this one would do it:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v135/silverhorse/trinhorse2.gif
But I guess I should have been more specific:

Graybaby (Majestuosa Don Francisco), owned by Lori Spencer:

Ickis:

Zumi:

That magnifical grey at the '04 Nationals:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v135/silverhorse/zumieye/himSOpurty.jpg
And I looked and looked, and can't find Encounter with Pooh, Conversano II Aloha II, Conversano II Amelia, Milton, Gem Twist, or Figuroso (I never met Fig, though).
We need a book... Grays we have Loved.
