There are two things in life that I really love to see and make me feel blessed to watch... this is one of them... a mare giving birth and the other is watching a stallion running freely through a big space of land.

One can learn a lot from these videos, like how not to grab the newborn by the legs in that manner and let the mare do her part naturally.

Loved the mare in the first video. She looks like she was born to be a mama.

Yeah that. To both comments. Poor foal. Might as well have made it stand up on ice. Great mare though. Very professional. I'm thinking she's done this before.

There is a lot to learn from horses, they teach humans too, it's just a matter of "lisening" to them. I can tell you endless stories of how horses have helped people- including me; on how to be better persons and in the inside too. Thanks God for them!

Ok, I'm going to try to tell a little story here.
I know a Colombian doctor here in Miami who told me this story about when he was a very young doctor in Col.
He was called by a midwife to come quick, a woman giving birth was in great danger and having a difficult birth.
When he arrived, he determined the baby to be positioned wrong for birth. She would need to travel to the nearest hospital miles away, and the only transportation they had was a very pregnant Paso mare, and a mule.
They put the woman on the Paso, and the Dr followed on the mule. He says he will never forget that Paso mare, heavy w/foal herself, carrying this woman for miles. She was pounding away in trocha as she was so heavy herself. The womans water broke, and the Dr feared they baby would not make it. As it turns out....suddenly, the baby was aligned pefectly for birth, and all was well after all. But the Dr swears it was the rythmic pounding of that mares gait that moved the baby into proper position. Im sure I didnt' do justice to this story, as you can tell by the look in the Dr's eyes as he tells the story, that he believes a miracle happend that day.
