This Feburary At tropical Park Miami.fl there will be a Grand PRix ! Before the Grand Prix Classes star there will be Equitation classes for diffrent age gruops ! like a mini Mundial ! Please contact Jamie Escudero For more information ! i will have more information later today ! i dont have anyof it infront of me now ! I will include the schedule for the equitation and grandprix classes and Jaime Escuderos number !

I understand they plan to have several classes for the youth riders at this show w/ savings bonds as prizes. 8-)

I heard that to0 but they dont know if they are gping to have it for sure !

The Grand Prix site said $850 in savings bonds for the kids, I think split between the top three places, but I'm not sure. Escudero and Diego Bravo are supposed to be the judges. One runs a riding school in Miami and the other runs a riding school in Ocala. Good thing the rules are different than the PFHA which doesn't allow people to show in front of anyone they do business with within 30 days. They also have a rule about no one under 18 (I believe) showing in the regular classes, including the amateur owner. I also believe the entry fees for the kids are less than for adults and I think I read they were under $100, but the stalls are the same price.

This is what it says in this months paso fino horse world magazine !!


"We are proud to offer four(4) classes for youth ages6-17 emphasizing the equitation skills needed to win at the Youth Mundial.... and beyond. Master clinicians Diego Bravo . of the Ocala School of Equestrian Art andJAmime Escudero of the Escudero Paso Fino Riding School OF U.S.A will be our youth judges and will explain the reasons for the placements to our young competitors and fans"


Starting at 8:00 am Feburary 25,2006
the classes for the youth competitors are :

Youth Equitation Ages 6-8 with $850 bond
Youth equitation Ages 9-11 with a $850 bond
Youth Equitation Ages 12-14 With a $850 bond
Youth Equitation Ages 15-17 with a $850 bond

Stalls are $175 per horse
Entry Fee is For youth $90 Per class


And it is true ! we are not allowed to compete in the regular classes in the grand prix if you are younger than 18 years of age !

The next show American Paso Finos will be covering will take place in Miami!

This Happens to be the 2006 Paso Fino Grand Prix!

We will bring the youth competition in great details since APF.com is the headquarters for Paso Kids :smile: in order to give them an idea what the Youth Mundial will be like.

Show takes place Feburary 24-26 here at Miami's Tropical Park Equestrian Center.

Alex (BatmanRox) is already entered on Batman in the 14 year old girls, so we'll see you there Lori and the other members from the forum. Alex placed 1st in the Mundial fun show/clinic in Ocala this past weekend, so we hope she and Batman keep up the good work.
