Kim (Centauress) and I went out for a ride this morning. I rode my token qrt horse, Prince. I like Prince, he has lots of personality and is fun to ride. But for the full hour we were out I was posting a trot while Kim rode comfortable along on Mico. Sooooo, my question is how many cookies am I now allowed to eat to make up for all the excercise I got this morning. OH, and it was windy and it rained so we got cold and wet, that must count for some calories too?

Oh, how about 8! A full hour on a QH in crappy weather certainly deserves that! I am going out this afternoon by myself rain or shine.................

Ok - I don't want to be mean and rub it in but I did feel a little smug gliding along on Mico while Terri huffed and puffed along on her QH! :rofl Not to mention that Prince had to canter just to keep up with me and Mico!! I LOVE PASOS!!!!!!! 8-)

In all fairness to Terri, she did have Prince looking pretty good in a nice collected dressage frame. Although he STILL wasn't looking HALF as cute as Mico!!

The QH needed a "tune up"! Spoiled by too many kids. Terri needed to give him a reality slap!

Prince is my token qrt horse that I aquired quite by accident when his owner who was boarding with me had some sudden life changes. He is currently leased out to an 11 yr old girl who loves him to tears. And I am hoping the family eventually buys him. But he is NO dead head qrt horse, lots of brio and every now and then needs to be UM "refocused" He is really a great horse, lots of personality. I just feel responsible for keeping him safe and fun for a kid.

Now where is the Ibuprophen and beer.

ya gotta stop calling him the token QH, Gunta gets very upset about that!

OH I don't mean to upset Gunta, he is just the only ungaited horse in the barn, that makes him a token. If one of my pasos was in her barn, he would be the token. I actually love him, he has more personality than any of the others. I love how he comes up to me, rests his chin on my shoulder and nickers. If I was rich I would just keep him too.
