Hi everybody,
Came here to see what's going on. I don't have a paso
I did for a month or so 'till his rightful owner stole him back from me, here's a pic of him in my pasture trying to eat his dinner before the peacocks eat it all.
Anyone recognise him????

This is me and Sampson last year.

And another pic of my babies :D
The dark one on the left in this pic was the "stolen" horse ;-)

Maybe someday i'll have a paso in the pasture but for now i'm happy to visit here and live vicariously through you paso people.

Hey draftie! Glad you made your way here.
Draftie is one of the non-paso ppl that come to Extravaganza to see some pasos....but she had to leave early and missed the ride on Batman. :-?
I'm still not clear on how she had that paso in her own yard and didn't get to ride it. But to date...I don't think Draftie has had the pleasure of a paso yet....and she lives in Williston! Should be plenty of us in that area for her to try one. :D

You win the prize PH, that is the infamous Mr. Michico :D
Yup i figured i might be accepted here if i had at least some slight, however remote, connection to a paso.
Pasogirlz, pssst it's Williston, not Wellington. Huge class difference
Appy, Sampson is 13.3 hands and i'm only two and a half feet tall, he looks big though, huh!

Welcome! Since you apparently love animals, why wouldn't you be welcome?
My farm is near OEC. There are lots of pasos in the Ocala area. There are some people out your way, too.
How long have you lived in Williston? We used to do the Independence/Founders' Parade in July. My late, big paso won some awards. They did ask him to lead the horses, carrying the American flag.
Sorry we didn't get to meet at the show. We could have just run to the farm for a ride. Maybe we can at some future show if not before one.
Hi there Draftie, I'm delighted to see you over here. Next time Mr. Michico come to visit his step mama ;-) I'll make sure you get a ride. He has been so good lately and politely let other people than me ride without a fuss. And you might see your step children faster than you think (or wish for that matter  ) ) If Ophelia gets out of sorts and decides to strengthen and come this way I might bring you the step children.

Pasofantasy, i've been in Willystone for 6 yrs. now.
Thank you so very much for the offer to go to your farm and now that i know how close you are to OEC, i'm sure we'll meet at the next show.
Pasogirlz can introduce us because she knows everybody :D
Hast, C'mon over, you KNOW you don't even need to call, just show up at my doorstep. Although i'd love to see you again, i hope you don't have to vacate because of Ophelia.
Good you're not mad at me for using your horse to barge in on these boards. ;-)

I kinda like the paint job on those big boys. Not sure if I have a tall enuff ladder to get up to that saddle though.
Guess I'll have to stick with the little guys.
Welcome aboard!

Gosh, I didn't know they made a girth strap that long! Do you have to use two together! ;-)
Hi Draftiemama, Welcome to the board here. Glad you paid us a visit, and you can hang around with or without a Paso!!!
I always wanted to ride a draft! I think they are so neat!
However, I won't give up my little Candee girl for nuttin! ;-)

Polly, you just need a stump to hop on, either that or train them to kneel for you, not that i could train them to do that.
Pasomom, let's swap for a day, i'll let you ride Sampson and i can try Candee. :D
Thanks again for the warm welcome.

Draftie - my boy came from Williston - any chance you knew Lynn & Al Winston (AlphaLynn Oaks) - they may be just down the road from you, I sure recall passing a pasture with drafts and donkeys on the way!

If that horse [Sampson] is only 13.3 HH [the one your riding] then how tall are you 2 ft 3"?????

Draftie, I'd love to swap for a day......Next time Hast is heading down for a visit...any chance you can load up that giant and come too?
And I'm afraid it will take more than a stump for me! I think I'm going to need a fork lift! I use a stump for my little Candee girl 13.2 hands :bsmile ..... :rearing
