*Does anyone feed Blue Seal extruded or pelleted feeds?
*How long have you fed it?
*Did you switch over from another brand and are you pleased with the
results?
*Is the quality consistent?
Any information would be appreciated.

Does anyone feed Blue Seal extruded or pelleted feeds?
Have fed both
I switched Corveta (now deceased since October '04 ..she was almost 37 nothing to do with the feed!) from Purina Equine Senior to Blue Seal Vintage senior . She would not finish the Purina and she seemed to do better on the Blue Seal. Also when she did get to the point that she had lost some teeth the Blue Seal extruded pellets turned to mush in water almost instantly and she would lick her tub clean.I feel she had a better haircoat and just overall health/attitiude in general within a few months of the switch.I also used a handful of the senior in other horses feed tubs as it helped to slow down the one or two 'bolters' I have here.Bigger pieces slowed them down..
I have feed Hunter to pregnant mares and horses in training plus another feed which I cant remember at this time.I am currently feeding Carb Guard to my youngsters (probably stop as soon as the grass pops.)
I have pretty much always been happy with the quality and consistancy. The rep in my area is also VERY easy to get in touch with .He actually looks me up at the Expos. This year he introduced to their new nutritionist Bridget McIntosh and they stopped at the farm after I talked to her about some of the problems I have been having here (Insulin Resistance) When a Feed Company rep looks at your horses and says they dont need grain (as in doesnt try to sell you product)..and takes the time to answer emails etc.Well heck..
Now I always thought of them as an East coast feed company .I know they manufacture the Triple Crown products also (at least from the pa/md line north..dont know if that has changed) With TSC stores carrying the feed I dont know if you would be able to get as good service from a rep??

Thanks, that is just the kind of info I have been looking for. By comparison it is the closest extruded feed I have found to what I fed in Canada (not available here). I am having problems locating a dealer in this are (TSC says not in this market but our local TSC mgr is not a farm type). I have a call in now to see if they can find me a retail outlet within a couple of hours of us.
