Which of my future Paso stars are going to be whupping some hiney at the Mundial in July?
Not me!
too complicated! I first need to learn how to stay ON a horse
Lori,
Any guys that want to make the team automatically will since few show compared to girls. Then there are two age groups of girls with many more wanting to make the team limited to 10 per age. They are being chosen based on THIS year's show records through March, participating in the required youth Mundial clinic, etc. Marcia Davis should have more information and I believe is in charge of picking the team.
Alex has done the clinic at 4J's and is currently taking riding lessons from both Kelley Cox and Diego Bravo. She will probably also take any other Mundial clinics given at shows we attend or in the Ocala area. Her age group is going to be the most competitive to even get the chance to compete. She hopes to make the team, which is an honor in itself, but after all the lessons, should improve her riding skills on different horses. Good luck to all the youth that do represent the USA!

hopefully i will be going. I haven't done much equitation this year but i have placed at nationals many times and i went to the Mundial in Puerto Rico. Last time Shaw Laney gave me lessons. He prolly will again this time as well if i make it. I'm already helping him work and train some of his horses

I'll definatly be going if I make the team. My age group is the largest of all of them, so there will be alot of people trying to make the team. I'm going to the clinic at Chetola Farms in March, anyone else going??? :D

I'm 13 so I'll be in the 12-14 age group i think. At the clinic at Nat., Mrs. Kathy Williams said my age group would be the largest.

I'm going to be in 15-17 Amazonas too. Usually the 12-14 and 15-17 are the biggest classes

i'll be in 15-17 as well. that is going to be the hardest division to make it in. Pasowave i will be attending the chetola farm clinic. Unfortunately i don't have a horse i can take b/c Indio will rear and is really hard to keep good equitation on b/c he is so bouncy and so poorly gaited and all he will want to do is canter. Canela is too scared at things b/c of her blindess in one eye. I don't know if u remember her or not but at clemson she was the bay mare that acted up so badly for all the youth classes. U're brother was sorta laughing at her b/c she was being so horrible. She didn't want to gait. She didn't want to turn and she hated the board but yet she is nothing like that at home. Napoleon will not be ready for something like that by march. He might be ready by july though. I have no other pasos that can be ridden or even trailered in a trailer. (i have Chico but the last time i rode him he through me up against a fence b/c a leaf touched him) Kathy told me i could ride one of theres but they would prolly stick me on one of there worst horses which wouldn't be able to show my equitation ability as well. But at least i'm used to bad horses :D :D :D :D
