Remember my post about just shooting me?

Why do I consider this -

9 year old registered mare, with possible free breeding...has not been riden in 4 years - was a teen-agers horse.....is described as being high strung - this is from a long-time Paso owner......

would come with a contract stating if situation changes she would go back to the owner (so she doesn't end up in a sale).....

Well, this is she........seems to be sweet, let me pick up all 4 feet with no problem, I brushed her, played with her ears, loked at her mouth.......hung my arm over her back and put weight on it while patting her off side.......no problems!

I should have her home in about a month, hopefully before Marci foals so they can get to know each other a bit. Now I have tons of fencing to get done!!!!

Wow Lisa..nice lines there. Who would the 'free' breeding be to? You know, if I had her...I'd run her down the coast and breed to eitehr Lynn's E or Stella's Pazzaro. Might as well keep some great things in those lines going.

I have to keep 'mum' on the possible breeding for now - let me say it is a Patrimonio son....

Any and all breedings would be mine with her - the only provision in the lease is that if I can't keep her she goes back to where she cam e from - wich is actually insurance for me, in case something happens to me or my circumstances.....or if she doesn't work out. No breeding this year - don't want a preggo mare if she doesn't work......but I'm thinking she will!

I plan on retraining her and riding - depending on how she is under saddle I may even show a little bit! Hehehe......gee, Cobleskill is 3 1/2 months away! I do know that if I find I don't have the time to spend training, I will send her to Nola for a 'tune up' for a month......just have to find the $$$ for it!

So this is a lease that will last as long as you can keep her? And you get to breed her too??? Wow, that works pretty good. She was a teenager's horse? What happened? did the teen grow up and away from horses?What do they mean by high strung? Everybody has a different definition for that. I think I need more details.

I'm not sure the name - but it is a QH mare with Foreo in the picture.....
actually, that mare is looking for a good home - free-lease situation, as well as 2 other QH's that are 'wasting away' as pasture ornaments......
