Depends how you look at it I guess.
I have gotten a decent job offer from an up and coming STB farm. With slots in PA the breeding business has picked up,plus the new rules concerning eligibility makes it necessary for mares and or foals to be in state for at least 6 months to be eligible for the Breeder's Sweepstakes races.Used to be just had to be born in the state,no time limit. So this makes for more work for farms as they have more horses year round.
Only bad thing is I cannot take any of my Pasos with me and my STB is only going to be 'on trial' (she makes trouble she is gone)I will not be able to afford to board but am going to tak to some people about some leasing situations..I will let you guys know if any are for sale if it happens. I hate moving (yuk) but hey ..bigger and better right!>
