I had the opportunity to watch the CD from the latest edition March/April 2007........

My appreciations to LORI FORD for such interview with Cristina Reyes and her family................ it was very sad but very INSPIRATIONAL!!!!!!!!!!for a change to say the least.

Thank you very much. I worked really hard on that particular article/interview. And that family was GREAT to work with. The Showtime Staff and I had a great time filming at their house and we feel the finished product came out perfect. Once everyone has had a chance to get their copies, I'll disclose a little secret on the "behind the scenes" of the filming. 8-)

For me, that is the best article/interview on the DVD. In the magazine, I really like the Photo spread on the Puerto Rican Festival la Candelaria. Especially the photo that opens the article. Ferrum did an EXCELLENT job on those and I can't wait for her to see them in the magazine.
I also liked the graphic design job on the Horse Soccer article. 8-)

He placed 1st in his fino colts class in Ocala recently. He is on the DVD twice. Once for his ad, and once on the show coverage. He is very tight and made it to the final cut in his class at Grand Prix. I think he came in 4th. He was also the winner of the Vegas Gold Cup.

Yes, you get a DVD w/each issue. Sometimes we include a second DVD for special events or promotions.

You get DVD time if you commit to doing a year of full page ads, or if your horse is on the cover. ;-)
You don't have to pay for the whole year upfront, you can pay as you go, you just have to commit and sign a contract.
I can't agree more about having the horses on the DVD to view. It allows you to make up your own mind about the heavily advertised stallions by seeing them in action. The ads are beautiful, but they don't do the gait justice. That is where the DVD comes in. 8-)

Sorry Candice, I think the regular subscriptions were going out late this week, and they are not sent Priority, so it normally takes the whole 7-10 days. But PLEASE let me know if you don't have it in that amount of time. Just like all the other magazines, we have trouble w/the deliveries. I think ppl at the post office like our DVDs too :-? I always send my winners/contributors magz via Priority, but it is costly.

Running down another path; It looks like him and us and a few others are starting a new saddle club of sorts. He's planning a children's hospitol benefit ride of about 120 miles. (He's a paramedic so has connections there) every time we talk about it it gets bigger, he's talking to potentual sponsors, has a whole bunch of leads, now he's got TV and Radio media promising to tell the world about it when it happens.

The magazine was so great and the DVD was the greatest. I've watched it three times already. What a treat to get to see these magnificent animals in action, nothing else compares unless you get to attend ALL the shows. And the horse soccer, I want to do that, what a hoot.

Only one bad thing, I promised to send to my dear friend so she can see the DVD also, now I will have to be without the DVD for a couple weeks at least. We showed ASB's together for over 20 years and she is very excited for Trovellino and I returning to the show arena.

Just got mine yesterday and viewed the dvd today. It was awesome. Yes, Lori you are a mighty fine interviewer. The Reyes story was amazing. I can't believe how strong that family is. I think I would crumble under all that stress and worry. Then the grandfather came on, and he was so sweet and made me cry. :cry: And the seafood dish made me so hungry I just sent my husband out to get some take out food!

I love the magazine, love the dvd! Gonna send in for my subscription.

Also, the Feather Hills segment was really cool. The beautiful pally stallion is my baby girls sire. I hope she looks like that when she grows up! :lol:

When I was a kid I worked at a lobster pound and I think I ate enough lobster to last me a lifetime! I love lobster, but I guess I don't really crave it. But if you ever want any sent out to you, I can hook you up with an excellent supplier! ;-)
