Piedmont Futurity Report
Despite fund raising efforts such as the generous embryo donation from Dwight and Marla Graber, sale of 2005 Silver Star trailer and the trailer raffle, the Futurity is still unable to support the additional classes added in 2002. The classes added were 2 year old Bella Forma Geldings and the 3 year old Bella Forma Colts, Fillies and Geldings classes.
The participation in the Futurity has not increased enough to continue to payout in these classes. The Board had to make a tough decision to drop these classes from the Futurity program. We trust that you will support the decisions being made to continue to move us to sound financial footing.
The owners of three year old horses that are currently nominated will receive a free declaration fee in 2008 for their horses when they show as a 4 year old. This is the $50 fee paid when the horse is declared to show in a Futurity class.
