Some weird horse behaviour

After church I went out to put the horses in cause it was pouring buckets. Four of my six had already sought refuge in the barn. Rio and Stetson were standing out in the the pouring rain. Rio's tail was in Stetson's mouth and Rio was dancing around in circles with Stetson following as fast as he could without letting go of the tail. What is with THAT?????

I went down to check on my girls a little after 1pm....it is still snowing - probably a good inch an hour. Were they int he barn taking refuge and eating hay?????

NOPE!!! All 3 were waaaaaaay out in the pasture diging through the snow for grass.............didn't even want to come see if I had feed!

So, they got locked out (still have run-in shelter) - until later so the stalls don't fill up with too much snow.

he is way to cool, I just had a dad and son here, he wanted to go out and see the horses, and ya the kid was drawn to C and it was sooooooo cute, C was snuggling with the cat.

Actually Cindy, I think at this point, the horses are sitting around and wondering about the weird human behaviour in the rain. And Mico looks at the rest and says "seeeeeee, I told you they were crazy and you don't reeally need to pay attention to them".

Cindy, You don't know how well you described Mico - Smart and spoiled rotten. :lol: And yep, we are getting alittle stir crazy, wind, rain and worse.....it is school vacation week and the rain isn't supposed to let up till Thurs!!!! This is going to get worse, especially if Cuz Helen keeps PM'ing us and egging us on.

Okay, we're back. We jumped in the car, but didn't go to Dairy Queen (my mommy taught me to always wash my hands, thank you Terri).

Instead, we went to Tropical Park and played around (seems the Hunter/Jumpers were there today).

Then, we headed to Coconut Grove to eat Pizza (the dogs helped me with the crust). It was nice out this evening, at 68 degrees. http://bestsmileys.com/eating1/2.gif

Okay, the power has been off all night, I guess just to keep me from talking and sharing secrets all night. As for pictures, well, I am lousey with cameras and this is only "talked out" cause Kim and Erin decided to talk about how wonderful Centuaro is (and he is) instead of going on and on about how cute and funny MY horse was. And I can do funny smileys too.
