Farmtek is used by NBHA (top link)

http://www.jacircuits.com/

Link is for auto-cross (vehicle timed racing through a slalom course) but it can be used for equine events, too. Supposed to be easy to set up and transport from place to place.

Then practice your poles and barrels. Its the best combined score of all three classes.

At the GPFHA show at Chicoppee May 18-20. Check you PFHA Mag for details or I can put up more. Actually give me a few minutes and I will post under events. But basically it is 3 classes, Largo Poles, Barels and one horse at a time race against the timer. points will be awarded per class and the 3 highest in points after all three classes win their part of a gauranteed $600 prize pool. Classes cost as a normal class (or is suppose to) and 1/2 of the entries form the prize pool. This is a great way to get Largo back into the Shows so all you that have wanted LARGO you better be there or risk gettin chewed out by me if you ever complain about it here on the bb again Lori supports me !00% in the tounge lashing  ;-) right Lori come on right.

boyd, we use a farmtek timer system. it works great. http://farmtek-fti.com

if you are planning to do this at chicopee ag center, i might can put you in touch with someone who would let you borrow their timer system. the system costs about $650.
