What a trail ride today!!

I had the best day riding Pasos today....
Can you guess what famous stallion came to my ranch? Mom and I got to ride him most of the day. The trade off was I had to watch others ride Tequila, which makes me a nervous wreck...but he did GREAT. (another reason all that training was priceless!)

We are about to have a big dinner w/our guests so I wont be back to post pix till later...but you can guess till then. 8-)

OMG...there is talk of leaving some horses here all week so we (us Miami folks) can come back next weekend and trail ride more. PasoMom will be riding in style ALL week if that happens. 8-)

I was up late since we ended up w/15 ppl here for dinner last night and he clean up was a bear. But I'll start up loading and tweaking the pix now.

The stallion was Tobias del 8!!!! and we have several other very nice horses from La Fortuna here as well. La Martina who I rode at the show in December, La Mina who is a beautiful fino filly out of Panarama and a Tobias daughter, a colt out of Cosmos, and Anastacia, the little grey mare we rode when PasoFan visted Miami.

Oh don't worry, she'll have some more. AND she actually left my camera here, so I can take some too! Tobias is a real sweetie. I always thought he was kinda hard to handle, cause when You walked by his stall (in Miami) with another horse, he would just about jump out of his stall at you....but he is VERY WELL behaved, and Princess was in heat again and he never acted up once!

So I went from three horses to 8 horses in the blink of an eye. Takes a little longer to feed up now. have to clip everybody up so no one steels each others food (mares and gelding) Stallions and one mare are stalled. The rest are in various pastures.

Can't wait till tomorrow....think I'll go to bed so I can wake up and it will be tomorrow! :D

Can you see a size difference in Tobias and Tequila? I didn't think I would find one shorter than Candee. I actually got on Toby without a mounting block! He is a real sweet little boy. :D

Oh that is so great! I remember Toby from my trip there.. So wonderful u finally convinced them to let those horses be horses and let them spend time at the ranch!! They can actually have wide open spaces!!

I bet Toby was happy that is why he has been soo good for you Barb!! That is great.. I specifically remember Toby pinnin his ears at me when I approached his stall..lol

They are all wonderful horses..
