The Sky

Anyone take the time to look at the moon tonight? It is amazing. The moon is a crescent, with Venus at it's southern tip. Take a look outside.

I saw it!! I didnt know that was Venus at the southern tip...how cool! It really is clear here tonight.

We are in a drought. I WISH it would rain. The hay situation will be serious if we don't get rain soon. The farmers can't fertilize or spray for weeds. The grass isn't groing.

I went out and looked last night as soon as I read this...how cool was that! Beautiful sight. It was a clear almost cold night last night.

I saw it last night and just wanted to stop my car right in the middle of the road and look. But I didn't. It was beautiful.

So that was Venus. My nine year old son and I were discussing what it could be. He suggested that it was Mars but I said that it could not be Mars as Mars is red but it could be Venus as Venus is white. I will tell him that it was indeed Venus. Thanks.
