Anyone ever heard of Contra-Sucesor?

Does anyone know any info on the Stallion Contra-Sucesor?
He has Alot of babies! And that all I really know about him but his name sounds so familiar? :new confused

A little info I have found on him...

Contra-Sucesor has been in the Top Ten Stallions list multiple times and is a proven producer.

Can't find anything else on line....annoying! :D

I wonder if he is in any of the old PFHW magazines I've been finding????? :roll:

I don't know about him other than I have a mare out of him that looks just like him. She is the SMOOTHEST horse I have ever ridden and a dream to ride. Will go anywhere and has a beautiful head set.

Beautiful horses from this line. The ones I know have great temperaments, and are well gaited.

This is his son Reino's Cuadro Venidero...he's got a great gait/temperament too...and passes it.

This is Cuadro's daughter, Ventura del Reino...she's as sweet as she is pretty. You can't see what lovely neck she has in this photo, and that is one of my favorite attributes from this line...it's one of my favorite lines...not just for the neck, of course, but for temperament, gait...very nice bloodlines. I think Contra-Sucesor was used with a variety of different types of bloodlines, with excellet results...may be why he was used quite a bit.

The above mentioned horses were owned by Startown Stables. I photographed them in the 80's. They were lovely chestnut stallions.
