Well the bad news :( is that the man who bought Apache was sent to Prison and then his daughter who he had bought Apache for fell out of a tree and broke her leg and needs a lot of corrective surgery and the family, grandmother and father has asked us to void the sale and take Apache back because they cannot afford to pay for him. I advised them they could pay just $20 a month if they want to keep him, but they are afraid it will be to long in the recovery of their grandaughter. I know that they gave Apache the best they could give him so I am not upset. Apache is still healthy and follows you around like a puppy dog. He's a good horse.

Good News is :D Grace and I are going down next week to bring Apache home once again. He is now 7 years old and has been ridden by the grandaughter and other family members for about 6 months. I want to ride him and see how much he has learned before we make him available for sale again. I'll let you all know how he is doing. I want to get him home because our farrier comes next week and he can get Apache back on his regular trimming.

I'll try to post some pics.

At least you know he's going back to a good home, and not to the auction or other person. ;-)

Well Apache is coming home Monday. We want to stop and weigh him to see if he has gained or lost any weight. Then run by the vet and have him checked out. See if he needs anything. Don't know if he has had his hooves trimmed or not, so if not will have to go by farrier and get them trimmed. So Monday is going to be kind of a busy day for all of us. Will try to post a picture of him when he gets home.
