From what I have heard, it was a BIG success! I wish I could have gone, but with Marci so close, she would have popped while I was gone (darn it, SHOULD have gone!!!).......
I for one had a great time at the Syracuse show. I was told we had 30 horses. This by far was the best attended in years by the Paso people. The big picture is that the entire show was down in numbers for other breeds. As upsetting as that is, I have to tell you that we had the largest cheering section. Our support group was there for every paso class. There wasn't another group in the stands that had as much fun as we did. And NOT everyone was showing. We had real spectators.
We also had new Paso people and I do believe they had a great time. Gregg Knapp told me that he couldn't believe how helpful everyone was. He said that he dreaded taking his daughter to the next show (another breed) on Sunday. The exhibitors don't speak to one another. Sometimes that happens in our group but it doesn't last for long. I am so proud to be a member of the NE. We are truly a blessed group.
Management was very helpful and kept us up to date with needed paper work and with a SMILE.
