a friend Bobby Clark III doing a cross the state benefit ride for childrens hospitol, and we're starting a kind of informal trail riding club along with it. There'll be some other things associated as time goes on, maybe some shorter riding/camping trips and he's even thinking of getting into riding school type of thing for kids, trail riding and camping oriented. http://saddleupusa.net/

Great idea!!!

You know what I've always wondered - why doesn't anyone do this for senior citizens. They have some for handicapped adults but I've never seen an equestrian program for seniors and I'm including those in senior living situations - even assisted living. Many grew up with horses and would probably love to ride again or at least go for a buggy ride. Ronald Reagan rode his horse many years after he was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. They are great healers.
