She was born at 11:35, standing and nursing at 12:05, Mare cleaned and all of the required things from baby by 1:20..... Of course by that time I was to wound up from getting ready for another sleepless night so I started sanding and painting the cabinets in the house. I thought my mare was about 12 - 18 hours behnd Marci - guess not... A friend's mare foaled last night to.

I am heading out to the barn for new pics and will post in an hour or so

Thanks everyone - yes she looks to be a black and white (funny but it is not my fave pinto color - dont shoot I know everyone likes b&W).

Yes she has 1 dark and one blue eye (same as dam), the sire has two blue eyes..

She was about 10 hours old in these photos, notice how only ONE of them has the mare in it - she is having a hard time keeping this one's attention.

I am betting this filly is homozygous - she has secondary spotting (white in the dark and dark in the white areas)... Canela has produced 4 fillies, 3 b/w and one chestnut and white (the other 2 b&w are both homozygous)
